Oracle Database 11g: Import schema objects

08:19
Import schema objects: The Export and Import utilities provide a simple way for you to transfer data objects between Oracle databases, even if they reside on platforms with different hardware and software configurations. When you run Export against an Oracle database, objects (such as tables) are extracted, followed by their related objects (such as indexes, comments, and grants), if any. The extracted data is written to an export dump file. The Import utility reads the object definitions and table data from the dump file. An export file is an Oracle binary-format dump file that is typically located on disk or tape. The dump files can be transferred using FTP or physically transported (in the case of tape) to a different site. The files can then be used with the Import utility to transfer data between databases that are on systems not connected through a network. The files can also be used as backups in addition to normal backup procedures. Export dump files can only be read by the Oracle Import utility. The version of the Import utility cannot be earlier than the version of the Export utility used to create the dump file. How to import java project in netbeans and dump file into oracle database

05:36
FB: https://www.facebook.com/gigtrix Susbcribe Now: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCppU-sahcmeeJdUOeYMCt3A This tutorial will show you "how you can run a java project in netbeans and import a dump file (containing tables) into the oracle database to run the project." If you just import a project directly into netbeans and if it is connected with database such as mysql, oracle etc then you need to have all the tables listed in the project into the database, you can do that by simply creating all the tables but that would consume time. But if you have a dump file you can simply just import the all the tables alongwith their data-entries into your database. ________________________________________ If You Found This Video Interesting or Helpful, Don't Forget to Share it with Your Friends ________________________________________ Please Like and Subscribe, More video coming soon

Importing Data from Excel into Oracle Database using SQL Developer 4.1

02:23
One of SQL Developer’s most popular features has undergone a significant upgrade. Users can quickly define and recall delimited or Excel files to be imported to a new or existing Oracle table. Data preview and validation is provided for each column, as well as ‘best guess’ data type and date format mask mapping. This process can now be automated via the SQL Developer command line interface (SDCLI) ‘Import’ command. NOTE: This is a video only. There is no audio. Copyright © 2015 Oracle and/or its affiliates. MySQL exporting and importing with command line

03:15
This is a quick demonstration showing you how to quickly export and import a specific MySQL database using mainly the command line. This is faster and somewhat less prone to errors than requesting a dump through phpMyAdmin, for example. You require SSH access, though. Shared hosts usually do not provide this. This is a quick video which I made for my portfolio, but for the sake of informational purposes I decided to do the video in English rather than in Dutch (I'm from Belgium). Sorry for potato quality.
